Are estimates really free?
Yes. Every estimate is free with no obligation. Call (636) 388-2332 or send a request.
What areas do you serve?
Franklin and Crawford counties, including Cuba, Bourbon, Sullivan, Union, Steelville, Leasburg, St. Clair and the towns around them. If you're close by, call and ask.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Barnett Construction Services LLC is licensed and insured.
How soon can I walk or drive on new concrete?
As a general rule, you can walk on it after a day or two and drive a car on it after about a week. Heavy trucks and equipment should wait longer while the concrete keeps curing. Weather makes a difference, so we'll tell you what to expect for your job.
What's the difference between broom, slick and stamped finishes?
Broom finish leaves a light texture for grip, which is why it's popular for driveways and sidewalks. Slick finish is troweled smooth, common for garages and shop floors. Stamped concrete is pressed with a pattern and colored to look like stone or slate, then sealed.
What are picture framed concrete and exposed aggregate?
Picture framed concrete has a border around the edge with a different finish or color than the middle, like a frame around a picture. Exposed aggregate has the top layer washed off to show the stones in the concrete, which gives a natural look and good grip.
Will my concrete crack?
All concrete shrinks a little as it cures, so we plan for it. We build on a compacted rock base, use rebar where the job needs it and saw-cut control joints so any cracking follows a straight line instead of running across the slab.
Can you handle the dirt work too?
Yes. We own our track loaders and mini excavator, so we do the excavation, grading, trenching, clearing and hauling ourselves. One crew handles your job from the first dig to the final finish.
Do you build ponds and haul rock or top soil?
Yes. We build ponds and lakes, and we haul rock, gravel and top soil. Call to talk through your project.

Barnett Construction Services LLC is based in Cuba, Missouri and works across Franklin and Crawford counties. We strive to provide custom concrete and fulfill the construction needs of our community and the areas around it, and we've grown every year since we started. Owner Logan Barnett is on site every day, running the job and keeping you posted on how it's going. We own the machines we run, so your job isn't waiting on a rental, and the same crew handles it from excavation to the final pour.
